Professional Highlights

Since joining the firm in 2004, Bridget L. Dorfman has represented industrial, commercial, and non-profit clients in a variety of complex matters.  Her practice focuses on real estate development and on regulatory compliance matters related to waste, water, and OSHA issues.

Prior to joining the firm, Bridget worked as a research assistant at the Northeast-Midwest Institute in Washington, DC, tracking the development of then-new brownfields programs in states across the country.  While studying at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, she served as a senior editor of the Journal of Constitutional Law and as co-chair of Penn Law School's Environmental Law Society.  Also while in law school, she worked at the firm, at Earthjustice’s California office, and as an extern in the Region III office of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Representative examples of Bridget’s experience include the following:

  • counseling regional and national residential developers regarding compliance with stormwater permits associated with earth disturbance activities;
  • representing clients in transactions for the purchase and sale of businesses and real estate, including performing due diligence and drafting environmental provisions in agreements of sale, leases, and other real estate contracts;
  • representing clients in the resolution of Occupational Safety and Health Administration enforcement actions;
