Challenges on the Litigation Side of Superfund

ABA Section of Environment, Energy and Resources' Superfund Master Class

June 15, 2016
Chicago, IL

Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, LLP partner Suzanne (Shoshana) Schiller will present at the ABA Section of Environment, Energy and Resources’ Superfund Master Class on June 15, 2016 in Chicago, Il.  She will participate as a panelist for “Challenges on the Litigation Side of Superfund,” from 1:15-2:45 p.m.  Schiller and her fellow presenters will address difficult Superfund litigation issues such as a party’s right to bring cost recovery and/or contribution claims, application of statutes of limitation, when liability is divisible, good faith hearings and settlement credits, identifying and allocating orphan shares, and burdens of proof.

The Superfund Master Class is meant to bring together government leaders and their non-governmental counterparts to discuss emerging and continuing legal issues and obstacles within the CERCLA context. Each presentation will be interactive and help drive a path to improvements to the Superfund process. MGKF is a “Legal Leader” sponsor of the program.
