Bruce S. Katcher, a founding partner of Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, LLP (MGKF), an environmental, energy and land use law firm, participated in a panel on "Green Power: Harnessing the Potential of Alternate Energy Sources" at a forum entitled "South Jersey: The People, Power & Politics" on Friday, February 6. Katcher presented the results of a recent survey on green or sustainable business opportunities in New Jersey and joined fellow panelists to discuss power generation and green jobs as an economic force to drive business growth.

The Green Business Survey prepared by MGKF for the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey was designed to elicit information on the attitudes of Southern New Jersey businesses toward "green" or sustainable business practices, the prevalence of these practices today and plans for the future.

A copy of the survey results are available in a short news report and/or PowerPoint format. As a firm that represents business clients in addressing legal requirements and incentives associated with reducing their environmental and energy impacts, we found the results particularly interesting and hope that you will as well. We welcome any comments or questions that you might have.

The survey and the summary of results were developed by MGKF attorneys Bruce Katcher and Meredith DuBarry Huston. Questions related to this survey may be directed to bkatcher@mgkflaw.com; (484) 430-2320 or mhuston@mgkflaw.com; (484) 430-2347.
