Law School Recruiting

Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox maintains relationships with law schools in the greater Philadelphia area and participates in on-campus recruiting at several schools. We conduct screening interviews through law schools' on-campus interviewing programs and independently meeting with 1L candidates in the spring and 2L candidates in the fall. Please work with your law school career services office to submit your resume and schedule an interview.

We are also happy to receive resumes directly from 1Ls and 2Ls interested in joining our summer associate program. Send your resume with a letter of interest and a law school transcript to our hiring partner whose contact information is listed on this page.

MGKF strives to create a workplace that promotes and embraces diversity in the areas of race, ethnicity, gender, age, mental/physical abilities, and sexual orientation. We believe that an inclusive environment naturally fosters the best talent to produce excellent results for our clients.

MGKF has been named a Law360 “Ceiling Smasher” and was ranked 23rd nationally for its percentage of women in the partnership based on firms with less than 100 attorneys. While many law firms’ partnership ranks are still dominated by men, currently, MGKF’s female partners account for 43 percent of the partnership and nearly 50 percent of the overall firm.

Law360’s 2020 Glass Ceiling Report found that women make up 37 percent of all attorneys, but just 25 percent of partners nationally.  At the top level of a typical U.S. law firm, women account for only 22 percent of equity partners, but in 2020, 39 percent of MGKF's equity partners were female, which landed the firm in 8th place for firms with 20-50 attorneys. Law360 Pulse’s 2023 Women in Law Report found that women make up 40 percent of all attorneys, but just 28 percent of partners nationally.  At the top level of a typical U.S. law firm, women account for only 25 percent of equity partners, but at the time 47 percent of the equity partners at MGKF were female. Currently 50 percent of the MGKF equity partners are female.

In addition, we are proud members of the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group (PDLG) and actively participate in PDLG's Fellows Program, the goal of which is to increase the number of lawyers of diverse backgrounds working at Philadelphia area law firms.
