Jesse Conen is paralegal at Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, LLP focusing on regulatory and litigation support for the firm’s environmental law practice. He interned at the firm for the summers of 2023 and 2024.  

In the summer of 2025, Jesse joined the firm full time after graduating with distinction, from Duke University with a B.A. in Political Science with minors in German Studies and Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE). During his time at Duke, Jesse developed the curriculum for and taught a seminar called “Star Wars Political Philosophy,” for which he earned the House Course Instructor Award for excellence in teaching.

Jesse did a work-study program with the Office of Vice Provost where he was promoted to lead a team in the student affairs division.  He was President of the Crowell Residence Quad/Giles Freshman Residence Hall and was the recipient of the inaugural Quad Council of the Year award. Additionally, he served as a constituent services and outreach intern for the Pennsylvania State Senate for Senator Amanda Cappelletti (D-17).

Outside the office you may find Jesse on the soccer field or basketball court or pursuing his interest in geography through international travels.
