Kayla Mullen is a litigation associate at Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, LLP. She joined the firm after serving as an Assistant District Attorney with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where she managed all phases of complex felony prosecutions, including pre- and post-trial motions, discovery, case strategy, jury trials and sentencing hearings for a variety of matters, including high-profile cases.

Kayla earned her J.D. from Duke University School of Law. While at Duke, she served as a student attorney in the Wrongful Convictions Clinic, worked with the Innocence Project New Cases team, and was a Research Assistant for the Duke Center on Law & Technology. She also served as a staff editor of the Duke Journal of Constitutional Law & Public Policy.

She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, where she held several leadership positions with the university’s daily newspaper, The Observer. As Managing Editor, she supervised more than 100 student staff members and oversaw the editing and publication of content reaching an audience of approximately 8,000 readers.

Outside the office, Kayla enjoys running, reading, and cheering on Notre Dame football.
