Profile

Sean Kellem is a litigation associate with Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, LLP.  He joins the firm as a former trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in Philadelphia after serving as an attorney-adviser for the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C.  He also served as a Law Fellow for The American Law Institute (ALI) where he researched and analyzed significant legal issues.  

Sean graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center. During his time there, he served as an Executive Editor and Chair of the Diversity Review Board of The Georgetown Law Journal and co-chaired the practical learning committee for Georgetown Human Rights Action. Sean earned the CALI Awards for Best Examination in: Evidence, Federal Courts & the Federal System, Introduction to International Law, International Human Rights, and Legal Justice Seminar.

While at Georgetown, Sean also earned his Master of Public Policy from the McCourt School of Public Policy. He then served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paul L. Friedman on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Sean earned his undergraduate degree at Brown University, where he spent a semester abroad in Dakar, Senegal.  Between college and law school, Sean taught English and traveled in several countries including South Korea, Thailand, Australia, and Senegal.

Outside the office, Sean enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two young children, particularly in Philadelphia’s Wissahickon Valley Park.
