Key Environmental Issues in U.S. EPA Region 2
This biennial conference examines key and emerging environmental issues in the EPA Region 2 area, which includes New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
On May 19, Columbia Law School will host the biennial EPA Region 2 conference. Officials from Region 2 and the New York State, New Jersey State, and New York City environmental departments, including the EPA Regional Administrator and the departments' commissioners, will discuss what their agencies are doing on climate change, air pollution, water regulation, environmental justice, contaminated site cleanup, toxics regulation, enforcement, and other topics.
Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox's John Gullace will moderate the second panel of the day focused on "Cross-cutting Issues".
New York and New Jersey CLE credit will be provided. This is an all-day (8:30 am - 5:00 pm) in-person event. This program is co-sponsored by EPA Region 2, the environmental law sections of the American, New York State, New Jersey State, and New York City bar associations, and the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law, and the Columbia Climate School.
