Protecting the Company and Client: Agency Inspections and Criminal Prosecution

a DRI webinar

April 21, 2016

Jill Hyman Kaplan, a partner focusing on environmental, health and safety law and litigation at Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, LLP (MGKF), will be a panelist for an upcoming DRI Webinar on “Protecting the Company and Client:  Agency Inspections and Criminal Prosecution.” MGKF’s Suzanne Ilene Schiller is the program chair.

The webinar will offer guidance on how to prepare for and respond to an agency inspection, how to protect a company during and after an inspection, and ethical issues faced when corporate executives are under fire.  These topics have all taken on new meaning and require a fresh look in light of the issuance last fall of a memo entitled, “Individual Accountability for Corporate Wrongdoing” by Sally Yates, Deputy Attorney General for the U.S. Department of Justice which directs DOJ attorneys to focus on potential criminal liability in all agency investigations.

The 90-minute CLE program, presented by DRI’s Corporate Counsel and Women in the Law Committees, will take place on Thursday, April 21 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. EST.  For more information, multi-site discounts, and to register, visit http://dri.org/Events/Webcasts.
