Getting the Deal Done: Buying and Selling Contaminated Property

Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox attorneys Marc Gold, Todd Kantorczyk and MGKF’s in-house technical consultant, Darryl Borrelli, will provide background on the legal liability framework applicable to transactions involving contaminated property as well as some practical tips on addressing these issues through technical and transactional approaches.  Topics covered include due diligence, public funding for brownfields projects and emerging issues such as vapor intrusion. These issues will be examined from the perspective of buyers, sellers and lenders.

1 substantive credit (environmental law) will be awarded for this presentation.
