MGKF’s Joseph Manko Receives Best Law Firm Mentor Award

Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox Partner Joseph Manko was recognized as one of the Best Law Firm Mentors at a special awards ceremony June 27 at the Crystal Tea Room. Best Mentors honors senior attorneys who have taken it upon themselves to prepare the next generation of legal talent. Manko and other mentors were recognized not only for sharing their valuable knowledge with younger attorneys, but also for paving the way for personal and industry advancement. These Awards, organized by The Legal Intelligencer, were gear exclusively to firms with fewer than 200 attorneys.
MGKF Managing Partner Jonathan Spergel explained, “Joe has always been a visionary and mentor. People questioned his decision to leave an established partnership at a large firm to start our firm. But nearly three decades later, his vision for an environmental and energy law firm with a national presence has been realized.” Spergel continued, “Mentorship has always been a priority for Joe, and it has played a key role in our success with one-third of our attorneys, including me, having started their careers as summer associates at the firm.”
