The American Bar Association’s Section of Environment, Energy and Resources’ (ABA SEER) Superfund and Natural Resources Damages (NRD) Litigation Committee, chaired for the past two years by Manko Gold Katcher & Fox (MGKF) partner Shoshana Schiller, was honored this week as the Best Committee at the ABA SEER Fall Conference. A SEER “Best Committee” distinguishes itself by its strong leadership; active engagement of members, including cultivation of new committee leaders; steady production of membership benefits; successful innovation in projects or products; engagement with Section leaders and other committees; and timely fulfillment of administrative requirements.

In keeping with the firm’s tradition of encouraging participation in environmental, energy, and other civic programs and community activities, several other MGKF partners have had key roles, past and present, with the award-winning committee.  Kate Campbell is Vice Chair for Articles, Garrett Trego is the Committee’s Region 3 Reporter and John Gullace served as the committee Chair from 2016-2018.  In addition, during the past year, Shoshana and Nicole Moshang, along with associate Maria Salvemini, wrote articles for ABA SEER publications.
